About the Role

We're seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support our clinical care and enhance capacity within our multi-professional teams.

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you'll be responsible for assessing patients' health needs, conducting consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical practice skills, and your own clinical judgment to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.

You will work face-to-face, supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends, and bank holidays.

This role is perfect for professionals looking to expand their role within Primary Care, utilizing their advanced skills to make a real impact.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical teams during shifts
  • Carry out comprehensive consultations with patients, taking thorough histories, performing examinations, and using expert knowledge to identify potential diagnoses
  • Decide on and implement treatment, including prescribing medication or referring patients to specialist services as appropriate
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification
  • Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, independent prescribing, and minor injury
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor illness and injury, or willingness to develop these skills
  • Ability to commit 5% of weekly hours to Learning and Development
