Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Improvement Advisor to join our Quality Improvement Team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Improvement Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our plans to build the Trust's Quality Improvement (QI) capacity and capability as core faculty of the CNWL Improvement Academy.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering high-quality training programs and materials, including virtual training, to improve QI capacity and capability across the Trust.
- Providing leadership and improvement expertise for allocated divisions within the Trust, supporting the development of QI infrastructure within divisions.
- Leading on identification and sharing of good practice amongst the QI team and subsequent spread across the organization.
- Providing expertise and coaching to staff in good improvement practice.
- Working closely with the Head of QI Team to ensure divisional improvement support is consistent and aligned to Trust approach.
- Overseeing targeted QI campaigns for Trust priorities, ensuring all campaigns are appropriately resourced, have a clear scope, and appropriate implementation plans.
- Contributing to the overall development of the improvement approach at CNWL.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent level combination of Post Graduate degree plus further experience and specialist training.
- Evidence of ongoing Continued Professional Development.
- Improvement qualification/accreditation.
- Experience of leading significant projects that have led to quantifiable improvements.
- Experience of using improvement tools and techniques in a complex service environment.
- Experience of developing and maintaining project documentation in a project management environment.
- Experience of managing change in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience of facilitating workshops/events.
- Experience of designing training programs and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience of delivering teaching/training.
- Experience of coaching/mentoring teams in improvement methods.
- Experience of service development, planning, and policy development.
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural framework.
- Experience of using statistical methods in evaluating performance (SPC).
