International Business Development Lead for Cross-Border Payments

Salary
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
Job Description
As an International Business Development Lead, you will be targeting mid-large sized companies and e-commerce merchants in the UK and EMEA regions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Originating new business and achieving commercial targets through various lead channels and collaboration with internal teams
- Managing the full sales cycle from lead-to-customer, including lead generation, sales, onboarding, and trade activation
- Analyzing market trends and developments to identify ideal customer profiles and develop a dynamic sales plan
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners on sales campaigns, creating relevant sales collateral, and establishing a healthy pipeline of new qualified leads
- Nurturing and closing open sales opportunities successfully, acting as a single point of contact for stakeholders during the onboarding process, and managing deadlines to ensure expectations are met
- Reporting on activities and pipeline via CRM and regular 121s, maintaining data quality of client profiles via CRM, and engaging in marketing operations and events to grow your network and support business development
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus
- A proven track record of exceeding new business sales and account growth targets in B2B markets
- A deep understanding of the cross-border payment ecosystem and FX products
- Focused, proactive, engaged, disciplined, responsible, and courageous sales skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to work autonomously, remotely, and independently, with a strong network of international SME-sized B2B traders in ecommerce
