Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dry Finishing Supervisor to lead our finishing operations. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the management of sub-contractors and site personnel to ensure successful project completion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with sub-contractors to maintain programmes and coordinate services effectively.
  • Collaborate with site managers to synchronize sub-contractor programmes and coordination.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to discuss engineering details and sub-contractor coordination.
  • Consult with quantity surveyors on cost issues.
  • Communicate with purchasing managers for bulk item procurement.
  • Participate in quality and environmental initiatives to maintain site records according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Requisition materials and plant in collaboration with site clerks.
  • Support the implementation of the safety management system with health and safety officers.
  • Assist in controlling plant and equipment on site.
  • Compile labour allocation sheets for direct and hired labour involved in finishing trades.
  • Maintain a daily site diary recording manpower levels for sub-contractors and note on-site activities.
  • Schedule weekly work programmes for finishing trades and review weekly progress reports from the master construction programme.
  • Ensure high-quality work is carried out.
  • Address health and safety concerns on site.
  • Motivate labourers and sub-contractors.
  • Attend Bennett management team meetings.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a finishing manager preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
