Housekeeping Team Lead

At peopleCare Communities, we are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Aide to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of chemicals and equipment used in cleaning, as well as independent working skills.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that involves performing a variety of housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing/disinfecting floors, spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors, and replenishing supplies. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environment, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks, including emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture.
- Ensure privacy of residents during performance of duties.
- Inspect furniture and other surfaces in need of repair or deficiencies and report to the supervisor.
- Adhere to established department policies and procedures.
- Report any actual or potential hazards to the immediate supervisor.
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
