About the Role

This part-time housekeeping aide position at Revera Inc. involves working in a fast-paced environment to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize residents' apartments and common areas according to established schedules.
  • Maintain floors and surfaces using floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment.
  • Strip, scrub, spray, and buff all carpet and non-carpet floor surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Pick up garbage and transport it to designated areas in a timely manner.
  • Document incidents and maintenance requests as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to address resident concerns and improve services.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Program initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with residents and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience with institutional cleaning techniques and floor care procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and situations.
  • Capacity to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, meeting the physical demands of the role.
  • Second language proficiency is an asset, enhancing communication with diverse residents and colleagues.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Compensation Package: Estimated salary range: $25-$35 per hour
