Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead our maintenance team and ensure optimal equipment performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a solid mechanical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime and improve OEE.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address technical issues.
- Manage maintenance schedules and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience (1 year for fast-track applicants).
- Proficiency in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
