About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Resource Management Consultant to join our Audit Resourcing Team in London, Birmingham, or Manchester.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage resource requests using Retain, ensuring accurate and timely allocation of staff. You will also support annual resource planning, resolving scheduling conflicts and updating training pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and escalate resource requests effectively using Retain.
  • Support the development of annual resource plans, ensuring accuracy and resolution of scheduling conflicts.
  • Update training pathways and non-client commitments in Retain, maintaining data accuracy for client and business planning.
  • Communicate directly with client handlers to resolve resourcing issues.
  • Cleanse and update data in Retain regularly to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Analyse and share resource management information on a regular basis, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new joiners, including trainees, working with onboarding teams to ensure smooth allocations.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience in resource management, preferably in professional services/consulting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to understand and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Skill in data analysis and reporting for management information.
  • Proficient in multitasking, with strong organisational and administrative capabilities, including Excel.
