About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the development and delivery of occupational therapy services in neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in neonatal occupational therapy, promoting high standards of patient care and contributing to service development and evaluation.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support the parent-infant relationship, helping parents understand and respond to behavioural cues and signs of stress.
  • Develop and deliver occupational therapy services to infants and their families, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to neonatal occupational therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients and families.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Completion of HEE Neonatal Foundation Modules.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate experience in neonatal occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
