Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families.

Main Duties:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in occupational therapy for neonates, promoting best practice and evidence-based care.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs for neonates, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for neonates, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and training to staff, patients, and families on occupational therapy principles and practices.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Completion of HEE Neonatal Foundation Modules.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate experience in occupational therapy.
  • Experience of working with neonates and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
