We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to join our team at a SENDs school in Northumberland.

This is a full-time opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, developing social skills and supporting students within the community.

As an Education Support Assistant, you will be working as part of a team to deliver effective teaching and support the development of pupils, educational and behaviour.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in delivering effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Supporting the development of pupils, educational and behaviour
  • Preparing classroom resources
