Early Years Education Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to work in the Early Years department at a Mainstream Primary School in Northumberland. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and experience in working with children on a 1:1 or small group basis.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4:30pm, and this is a long-term position.
The successful candidate will have:
- An enhanced DBS on the Update service or the willingness to obtain one.
- Recent experience working with children up to 5 years of age.
- A motivating and supportive presence towards the children.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An encouraging attitude towards the students by assisting them with their needs within the classroom.
