We are seeking a skilled Clinical Development Nurse to lead and support the improvement of clinical governance and quality of care for our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing homes in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, ensuring that they meet the highest clinical standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned nurse with experience in practice nursing to take on a new challenge and further their career. You will have extensive experience of resident/patient care and be confident in managing chronic diseases and wound dressings. Your strong leadership skills and passion for delivering exceptional care will shine through in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and support the performance of every home in your region to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards
  • Analyze results from the clinical governance database and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and implement key actions to address issues and improve standards month-in-month-out
  • Collaborate with senior clinical staff in each home to deliver high-quality care

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a registered general nurse with current NMC registration, RN (General) qualifications, and evidence of continued professional development. You must have experience working in a care home environment, supporting newly qualified nurses, and have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
