Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Field Officer, responsible for conducting door-to-door visits to properties where a TV licence is not registered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled visits to properties, engaging with customers to explain the importance of holding a TV licence.
  • Listen to customer concerns and respond appropriately, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Accurately record visit details, including customer interactions and any outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of TV licence payment schemes, responding to customer queries and addressing any concerns.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Attend court as required, providing evidence in prosecution cases.
  • Collaborate with the Visiting Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for licence collection and customer engagement.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is desirable, but not essential.
