Job Title: Learning Support Assistant for Children with SEN Position

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be based at our main site in Olton, with the possibility of working at our satellite centre in Shirley.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex behaviours. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement support programmes, enabling access to learning for all pupils. Your ability to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of SEN and your working knowledge of the curriculum and assessment will be essential. A collaborative approach to planning, developing, assessing and implementing programmes of work is also crucial.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, which reflects the importance of this role in providing high-quality support to our pupils. This position is term-time only, with 5 hours of work per day from Monday to Friday. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
