Team Educate are seeking a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a collaborative, welcoming team in one of our partner schools in Solihull. The school is committed to the needs of its individual learners and, as a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals with special needs. The primary need of its pupils is Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs, as well as Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. **As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with special needs, focusing on children with SEMH
- Assist in implementing educational and behavioural strategies and EHCPs
- Help create a safe and inclusive environment for primary pupils to learn and grow
- Support individuals in daily activities, including within lessons, with communication, and social skills development
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to enhance learning and attainment
- Maintain open communication with members of staff and follow the duty of care

**A SEN Learning Support Assistant will need**:

- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, including ASC, SEMH and EBD
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with individuals of all ages
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with additional needs
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs

**Note**:This is a full-time, long-term position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £86.00-£95.00 per day
