Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead and manage our client's Early Years and Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programmes. The successful candidate will oversee the performance management of their team, ensuring they meet contractual targets and objectives related to success rates, non-starters, referrals, and progressions.

About the Role:

  1. Oversight of team performance to meet contractual targets and objectives.
  2. Recruitment, management, and support of Apprenticeship Tutors across various sectors.
  3. Setting and monitoring monthly KPIs to ensure timely completion of all elements of the apprenticeship programme.
  4. Facilitating continuous staff training to maintain consistent processes and practices in line with funding and regulatory requirements.
  5. Conducting monthly one-on-one appraisals and coaching sessions with Apprenticeship Tutors, contributing to their personal development plans and the Quality Improvement Plan.
  6. Addressing underperformance and implementing corrective measures.
  7. Collaboration with the sales team to support business growth and learner recruitment.
  8. Working closely with Performance Managers, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Administration teams to ensure a cohesive learner experience from application to completion.
  9. Regular observations of teaching and learning in the field and monitoring functional skills delivery for continuous learner development.
  10. Ensuring programme performance aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs).

About You:

  1. Proven experience in driving quality learning and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  2. Strong knowledge of Apprenticeships and relevant funding streams.
  3. Recent experience in a similar Operations/Performance Manager role, managing a team of Assessors delivering on the New Standards.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Proficient in IT and comfortable working with e-portfolios and various software platforms.
  6. Confident in building professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Familiarity with Ofsted requirements.
  8. Solid occupational experience within an educational or training environment, particularly in early years or teaching.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
