About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive new business growth and expand our distribution network throughout Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales revenue and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new business growth and expand our distribution network
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans
  • Manage and implement sales budgets to meet predetermined sales targets
  • Explore new applications, markets, and opportunities for our existing product portfolios
  • Maximize sales revenue by upselling and cross-selling our product range to new clients and distributors
  • Attend regular sales and management meetings to stay informed and provide updates on sales performance
  • Work within pricing guidelines to ensure the company's success and profitability
  • Attend training sessions at our office near Liverpool to develop relevant product knowledge
  • Visit clients in Europe on a regular basis, up to 50% of the time

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in export sales and business development
  • Strong knowledge of European markets and distribution networks
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in German or French is essential
