Job Title: Export Administrator

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Administrator to join our team in Long Marston. As an Export Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administration of export documentation and providing general administration/secretarial support services to our Export Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate export documentation and invoices to enable timely payment from customers
  • Provide general administration/secretarial support services to Export Managers, including liaison with shipping agents, export depots, banks, and other stakeholders
  • Telephone liaison with overseas sales offices and foreign customers as necessary
  • Credit control, including producing statements and chasing customers or their bankers for payments as necessary
  • Production of export documents and sales invoices
  • Assist the Export Manager and relevant commercial and site managers in invoicing customers, ensuring receipt of payment, including chasing them or their bankers for payments if necessary
  • Update spreadsheets with accurate information
  • Liaise with company sites for the timely planning of export loads
  • Plan and action container bookings with ocean carriers and freight forwarders
  • Process freight invoices
