Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor

At Esh Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of contracts specific to the Water Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Interim Valuations and Final Accounts
  • Procurement of sub-contractors in line with target programme and company policy requirements
  • Contract administration of sub-contracts, including progress meetings and delay evaluation
  • Timely and accurate assessment and payment of sub-contractor's applications
  • Final Account agreement of sub-contract accounts
  • Measurement of quantities and evaluation of variations
  • Material cost control and accurate production of internal valuations
  • Working closely with the Site Manager and delivery team to monitor progress and margin
  • Ensuring good quality and accurate records are kept and maintained
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a relevant Degree or equivalent
  • Experience of the Water Industry, including Water Treatment Processes and Environmental impact
  • Experience of working on Frameworks, NEC Target Cost Contracts, and Design & Construct Schemes
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and produce accurate work within required deadlines
