Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Esh Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in the management of contracts specific to the Water Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely Interim Valuations and Final Accounts
  • Procure sub-contractors in line with target programme and company policy requirements
  • Administer sub-contracts, including progress meetings, delay evaluation, variations, and day works
  • Assess and pay sub-contractor's applications and issue payment notifications
  • Finalize Account agreements for sub-contract accounts
  • Measure quantities on site and from drawings, as required
  • Evaluate variations and monitor their impact on the project
  • Make timely and accurate payments to sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Control material costs and produce accurate valuations, liabilities, and cost value reconciliations
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and delivery team to monitor progress and margin
  • Ensure accurate and complete records are maintained
  • Identify and notify delays, in collaboration with the Quantity Surveying line manager
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in the Water Industry, including Water Treatment Processes, MEICA, ICA & SCADA, and Environmental impact
  • Experience with NEC Target Cost Contracts, Design & Construct Schemes, and Water Industry schemes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and office IT packages, as well as extranet and electronic project management systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
