About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children in their school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students with self-regulation activities and techniques to help them achieve calm and regulated moods.
* Work with students who are vulnerable and need support with their SEMH and personal needs.
* Be aware of safeguarding processes within the school and put them into action if required.
* Support students with elements of personal care when needed.
What You'll Gain:
* The opportunity to work with vulnerable children and understand how schools support students and families.
* The chance to identify key support strategies that can be used later in your career.
* Growing your understanding of vulnerable children with SEMH, SEN, and trauma.
Additional Information:
* Full-time and permanent position available.
* £440-£460 per week.
* 8:30-3:45 working hours.
* ASAP or January 2025 starts available depending on your circumstances.
