Job Description:

We are looking for a professional and experienced Hospitality Leader who will be responsible for overseeing the dining room operations at La Maison Ani in Knightsbridge, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Allocate duties for the Chef de Rang (CDR)
  2. Clean linen count and storage
  3. Refill stations with printer rolls, pdq rolls, and order pads
  4. Check table allocations with the front desk and update the floor
  5. Check olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and sauces levels and cleanliness
  6. Check CDR duties and stations ready for service
  7. Attend pre-service briefings
  8. Assist the host/hostess in seating customers
  9. Take drinks orders if the waiter is busy
  10. Place drink orders with position numbers
  11. Serve drinks if the waiter is busy
  12. Explain menus and specials
  13. Check with the waiter about guest information before taking the food order
  14. Take food orders (check for allergies or intolerance)
  15. Place orders on Micros
  16. Ensure mise en place and clear space for food on the table
  17. Assist the CDR in serving food at tables
  18. Call hot starters away
  19. Refresh plates between courses
  20. Call mains away and clear tables with the CDR
  21. Ensure mise en place is correct for mains
  22. NB: Always call a table away before clearing it
  23. Clear tables, crumb them, and replace tablecloths before handing out dessert menus
  24. Verify that dessert and coffee orders have been placed by the waiter
  25. Check bills on Micros and add BILL CHECKED item
  26. Verify wine checks with the sommelier

Post-Service Responsibilities:

  1. Check station has been emptied by the waiter
  2. Close all bills and hand over to the closing manager
  3. Review open comp tables with managers
  4. Hand over station tips to the closing manager
