Exciting Opportunity for a Band 5 Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Provide inpatient services across various specialties, including general medicine, surgery, critical care, and more
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills in enteral tube feeding and parenteral nutrition
  • Opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues across different sites

Requirements:

Qualifications/Training:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian
  • Evidence of relevant continuing professional development (CPD) activities

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Evidence of clinical treatment experience in dietetics
  • Knowledge of outcome measures to evaluate clinical treatment

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Clear presentation of information, written and verbal
