As a Renal Dietitian Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload and providing expert advice and guidance to other team members. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of structured education programs and assess patient understanding of treatment proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

* Formulating and delivering individual dietetic treatment plans based on evidence-based practice and treatment options
* Contributing to the local development and delivery of structured education programs
* Assessing patient understanding of treatment proposals and gaining valid informed consent
* Evaluating patient progress and reassessing treatment regimens as required
* Managing clinical risk within your patient caseload
* Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with BDA and HCPC standards of practice

To be successful in this role, you will have a BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, HCPC registration, and significant previous experience in renal dietetics. You will also have knowledge of dietetics within the NHS, experience of undertaking clinical audit, and experience of multidisciplinary team working.
