Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Dietitian to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. The successful candidate will have a leading role within our dietetic inpatient service, providing advanced dietetic care within the specialist field of gastroenterology and other general inpatient areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced dietetic care to patients with colorectal, upper gastro-intestinal, and HPB surgeries.
  • Contribute to service development and quality projects.
  • Lead training sessions on evidence-based dietetic therapy.
  • Manage the nutrition and dietetic needs of patients requiring parenteral nutrition.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in dietetics or equivalent.
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Extensive clinical practice at a senior level in surgical gastroenterology.
  • Experience in managing renal patients is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in the critical care setting is desirable but not essential.
