An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our Community Team for People with a Learning Disability in Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adults and young people with a learning disability.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and carers to provide specialist advice, support, and training. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us improve service delivery and promote positive change in healthcare. We are committed to supporting our staff to develop their skills and competencies, and you will have access to regular supervision, professional development, and peer support.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a registered nurse with a current NMC registration and a good understanding of current policy and practice in relation to people with learning disabilities. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability is essential, and a teaching qualification or equivalent is desirable. The ability to communicate in Welsh is also desirable, but not essential.
