Job Summary:

New Iron, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Process Equipment Deployment Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our global support team, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting our client's process control and maintenance software.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical application support on sensor and software integration on semiconductor customers and fabs.
  • Coordinate with various cross-functional teams to develop and optimize data acquisition systems.
  • Work with fab management and engineering on systems planning, improvement, and mechanisms that optimize quality and performance.
  • Conduct installation, training, and sensor maintenance on and off customer sites.
  • Cultivate positive customer relationships and clearly communicate customer needs/requirements to key partners.
  • Analyze data to detect process faults using advanced software tools.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities through sensor technology and software solutions.
  • Conduct product training and troubleshooting on-site.

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in backend manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrate specialized knowledge in back-end semiconductor manufacturing processes, including chip packaging or assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in English (professional level minimum).
  • Excellent communication skills for building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong adaptability to solve issues in the field with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in solving complex problems analytically.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical members.
  • Ability to be on-call support, work effectively in a global work environment, and travel 30-50%, depending on the project.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, CS or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing or process control systems like FDC, APC, factory automation, SPC, RR Control, Tool maintenance, industrial engineering.
  • Apply manufacturing experience to contribute to process and equipment engineering aspects.
