Decommissioning Team Lead

Are you an experienced professional looking for a new challenge in the Nuclear sector? We are seeking a talented individual to join our Decommissioning team as a Team Lead, responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of decommissioning projects from feasibility to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals in decommissioning projects
- Develop and implement strategies for project delivery, including feasibility studies and detailed design
- Collaborate with the Head of Decommissioning to ensure project objectives are met
- Identify and assess industry talent, reviewing CVs and conducting interviews
- Contribute to the annual recruitment plan and talent pipeline
- Support decommissioning planning, developing multi-phase plans and flow diagrams, and determining sequencing and scheduling
- Prepare method statements and design risk assessments
- Project-Specific Studies and Planning
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience delivering projects in the nuclear industry
- Engineering/Science Degree in a relevant Discipline (Nuclear, D&D, Chemical, Process or Mechanical)
- Previous line management experience is preferred
- Experience of working on a Decommissioning project is required
