Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Armstrong Knight as a Financial Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the outsourced team and cloud team manager in ensuring that bookkeepers stay within budget and meet deadlines.
As a key member of our financial operations team, you will review and file VAT returns, run monthly/weekly reports, and liaise with PAs when year-end accounts are ready to be booked in.
You will also be responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and work is planned accordingly, and for training other members of the team to improve their efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the outsourced team and cloud team manager in managing bookkeepers.
- Review and file VAT returns.
- Run monthly/weekly reports to track task progress.
- Liaise with PAs to book in year-end accounts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience preparing VAT returns, using Xero extensively, and being certified on Xero. You should also have strong understanding of accountancy and tax principles, and be ACCA/AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is looking for a new challenge, please apply.
