Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:
As a Business Development Manager at TD SYNNEX, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion by translating vendor/technology growth plans into actionable strategies. You will work closely with marketing and sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities in specific strategic segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to drive profitable market share expansion.
- Negotiate key tenders and large deals with vendors, leveraging your knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
- Optimize sales results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolios, including new vendor identification, onboarding, and business development initiatives.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies to drive successful business outcomes.
- Apply TD SYNNEX resources to assist customers in meeting their strategic objectives.
- Take solution and service offerings to market, including TaaS.
- Own quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
- Drive overall vendor management and create customer unique selling propositions that protect margin integrity and promote long-term value-based customer engagement.
- Enable and support sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders to position TD SYNNEX as the trusted advisor.
- Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best-in-class business continuity.
- Maintain full knowledge of assigned vendor product/service lines.
- Develop tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements.
Requirements:
- Good emotional intelligence.

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

- Skilled multi-level relationship builder.
- High energy and motivation.
- 4+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
- Complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
- Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling.
- Strategic planning and business case development.
- Experience of working within a matrix structure.
- Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.
- Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.
