Payroll Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Cameron Pink. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with country laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process payroll data, including downloading and checking for errors.
  2. Address payroll queries promptly and professionally.
  3. Process new starters and leavers, handling P45's, NI, and TAX.
  4. Prepare payroll and related activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
  5. Undertake ad hoc duties with monthly payroll processing.
  6. Assist with year-end payroll process.
  7. Support the Payroll Manager with additional tasks.
  8. Prepare payroll reports and summaries as required.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience in payroll processing (5+ years).
  2. Strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, and HMRC reconciliations.
  3. Strong analytical aptitude with system and data analysis skills.
  4. Pro-active approach to challenges, flexible, adaptable, and open to change.
  5. Solid payroll knowledge is essential.
  6. Knowledge of Tax, NI, and BIK.
  7. Related payroll qualification.
  8. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
