**Job Title:** Communications Specialist for Children with ASD

**Location:** Lytham St Annes

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to support our client's Independent School in Lytham St Annes. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and pragmatic language difficulties.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' communication needs, particularly related to social communication and pragmatic language skills.
  • Prepare reports for multi-disciplinary team meetings, Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews, or annual reviews.
  • Adapt therapy to meet the sensory and behavioral needs of children with ASD.

**Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC is essential.
  • Experience supporting children with ASD and pragmatic language difficulties is required.

**Estimated Salary:** £35-40 per hour
