Teaching Personnel Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Academic School Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic School Tutor, you will work directly with children in one-to-one sessions, providing support and guidance to help them catch up on their education.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver engaging lessons to pupils, focusing on core subjects like Maths, English, and Science. You will also develop behaviour strategies and coping mechanisms to help pupils manage their emotions and behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with SEN. A SEN background is desirable, but not essential. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to work effectively with schools, social workers, and other stakeholders.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
