About this Role:

This position is based within the Client Accounts team in the Salisbury Head office, where you will liaise with internal and external parties as required. The role involves varied and project-based tasks, depending on the needs of the Department as seen by the Head of Clients Operational Finance.

Main Duties and Objectives:

  • Support the on-boarding of new business financial information and final reconciliations, ensuring the team is robust and efficient.
  • Review, design, and implement controls and processes to promote a culture of right first-time approach.
  • Collaborate with team leads to develop greater knowledge across the business of finance processes and build robust systems with scalability and efficiency in mind.
  • Support the closedown of lost business financial information and archiving.
  • Assist with internal and external queries where necessary.
  • Support treasury functions.
  • Support on acquisitions.
  • Other ad-hoc duties and projects as required.

Essential Skills:

  • At least 5 years' experience within finance.
  • Relevant residential service charge experience gained in a professional environment.
  • Experience of using QUBE system.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office 365 and a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly analytical with an attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • An effective team player.

Desirable Skills:

  • Completed or be working towards an accounting qualification.
  • Experience of Extended Trial Balance.
