Job Title: Residential Support Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Service Care Solutions, a leading provider of residential care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to young people in a 4-bed children’s home in Wellingborough.

The role involves ensuring the protection and wellbeing of the residents, promoting education, care, and development to achieve better outcomes. The ideal candidate will build trust and respect with the young people, responding to their needs and providing advice when required.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of the residents.
  • Promoting educational and developmental activities to enhance their wellbeing.
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH ACTIVE LISTENING AND ADVICE.
  • ESTABLISHING CLEAR BEHAVIOUR STRUCTURES AND BOUNDARIES, ACTING AS A POSITIVE ROLE MODEL FOR DAILY ROUTINES.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in residential care.
  • A full driving licence.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
