Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Practitioner to work in a children’s home in Wellingborough, ensuring the day-to-day running of the home meets all relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the residential home, participating in the on-call roster, and liaising with other departments and external agencies to ensure residents receive appropriate plans and support.
Main Responsibilities- Day-to-Day Management: Manage the residential home, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
- Liaison and Collaboration: Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure residents receive appropriate plans and support.
- Staff Development: Coach, support, and develop staff to maximize their performance and ensure high standards of care.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and manage budgets to meet financial parameters.
- A professional social work qualification (QCF level 3 or above) or working towards.
- 1 year of experience in residential care.
- Full driving license.
- Enhanced DBS check.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing care and support to young people. The successful candidate will receive:
- Excellent rates of pay.
- Payroll services twice a week.
Salary: £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
