Job Role: Children's Residential Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties? Do you have a genuine interest in the well-being and development of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our dynamic team as a Children's Residential Support Worker.

Service Overview: Our medium-sized organization provides a supportive and inclusive working environment for our staff, with a strong focus on continuous professional development and internal promotions. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be working in one of our 9 regional homes, supporting the education, independence, and well-being of children aged 8-17.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Assist with daily living tasks, education, and leisure activities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare or a related field
