Job Summary:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing a comprehensive system for recording, filing, and monitoring to efficiently track job completion, work progress, and billing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and corporation tax returns for limited companies and charities, and undertake all stages of Companies Act audits.
  • Supervise and direct the audit team, ensuring efficient and timely completion of assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and systems recording.
  • Prepare and communicate audit-related letters and reports, addressing pertinent matters for both internal and external users.
  • Provide proactive client services, addressing day-to-day matters, liaising with Partners and staff, and taking a holistic approach to advisory services.

Requirements:

  • AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying
  • A minimum of 1 year's statutory audit experience, gained in a practice environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within limited response times
  • Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
