Job Summary:
Cathedral Appointments | South West Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing a comprehensive system for recording, filing, and monitoring to efficiently track job completion, work progress, and billing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and corporation tax returns for limited companies and charities, and undertake all stages of Companies Act audits.
- Supervise and direct the audit team, ensuring efficient and timely completion of assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and systems recording.
- Prepare and communicate audit-related letters and reports, addressing pertinent matters for both internal and external users.
- Provide proactive client services, addressing day-to-day matters, liaising with Partners and staff, and taking a holistic approach to advisory services.
Requirements:
- AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying
- A minimum of 1 year's statutory audit experience, gained in a practice environment
- Ability to work to deadlines and within limited response times
- Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
