Residential Care Professional

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Care Professional. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people in a full-time or part-time capacity, creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive.
About the Job:
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to positively impact young lives, providing a supportive and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected. We prioritize your professional growth and development, offering ongoing training and consultant support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to children and young people, including assistance with daily needs and activities
- Offer respite services to caregivers through planned recreational and educational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people by adhering to safeguarding policies and conducting regular safety checks
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and agencies
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
- DBS on the update service for children and adults
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential or respite care setting
- Understanding of child development and the needs of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
