Accounts Clerk in Hove

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Clerk to join our finance team in Hove.

This role involves managing and maintaining general accounts, setting up new supplier and vendor accounts, and ensuring the accurate processing and verification of purchase invoices.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

You will be responsible for reviewing monthly statements, assisting with end-of-month reporting, and investigating queries to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

Requirements
  • AAT or QBE certification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Availability to work 3 days per week, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) depending on experience, providing a dynamic work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
