Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Interaction Finance, based in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for entering purchase ledger invoices, reconciling supplier statements, processing payments and credit card claims, and supporting month-end processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a purchase ledger role, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate will also possess strong organisational skills, be self-motivated and flexible, with own transport and eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship. They should have the ability to perform other ad hoc duties to support the team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering purchase ledger invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing payments and credit card claims
- Supporting with month-end processes
- Opening new purchase ledger accounts
- Logging supplier payments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with high level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated and organised individual
- Flexible attitude - able to work as part of a team
- Own transport
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
