Job Title: People and Talent Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled People and Talent Business Partner to join our team at Law Business Research Limited. This is a hands-on generalist business partnering role supporting and driving global P&T initiatives across our Events and Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders across your business unit
  • Provide expert advice on a range of global HR issues
  • Support the HR team by delivering monthly reports, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt areas for improvement and provide solutions
  • Be a visible partner to LBR's employees, providing platforms and encouraging upward communication on people-based issues and interests
  • Actively participate in delivering company-wide training and change management programmes
  • Support the People & Talent Director in driving the delivery of key people projects, including career progression, diversity & inclusion, management capability, L&D and organisational design
  • Support multiple, global, payroll processes
  • Manage conflicting priorities in your workload
Requirements:
  • CIPD L5 or equivalent relevant professional qualification is desirable
  • Strong generalist HR experience in a partnering role
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools (especially Excel)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound understanding of international employment law (US labour law is desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Initiative, proactiveness and a change enabler
  • Experience using ADP and DEEL is desirable but not essential
  • Experience using Workday (ideally with implementation experience)
  • Ability to maintain a positive and healthy working environment
