The Role:
Lexology PRO is our Legal, Risk and Compliance focused research tool designed specifically for the In-House professional. We're dramatically expanding our global new business drive into the Corporates market and are seeking an Account Executive, Mid Market - Lexology PRO to help us on this journey.

We have a well-developed sales methodology and a huge total addressable market, of which we're only just starting to scratch the surface. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for researching and understanding the needs and structures of SME and large prospective businesses to be highly targeted in your approach. You'll utilize our database of over 800K subscribers to build 'champions' within target organizations who can refer you to the General Counsel/CLO and other key decision makers in the legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and understand the needs and structures of SME and large prospective businesses to be highly targeted in your approach.
  • Utilize our database of over 800K subscribers to build 'champions' within target organizations who can refer you to the General Counsel/CLO and other key decision makers in the legal team.
  • Negotiate and manage sales with global clients and manage their procurement processes.
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Content teams to provide valuable market as well as specific client feedback to help shape the future of the product.
  • Provide prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations, in person or online.
  • Accurately report internal administration: CRM activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, monthly reports to management and proposal preparation.
  • Build a strong working knowledge of the Legal/Compliance intelligence space and company product positioning.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure a good onboarding experience for new clients.

Requirements:
  • Good negotiation and communication skills, particularly a highly professional telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Natural new business hunter looking to ensure a positive outcome for the organization.
  • Customer focused.
  • Experience of consultative 360 selling to multiple stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Highly motivated, target/KPI driven and good influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good relationship building skills.
  • A keen interest in current affairs combined with an international outlook.
