Project Manager Opportunity

VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Project Manager to manage onsite and coordinate Major Adaptations delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing onsite and coordinating Major Adaptations delivery.
  • Prepare NEC contract documents and lead on project management of major adaptations construction within agreed timeframes, quality, and budget targets.
  • Brief consultants and contractors, negotiate appointments, and ensure that the Major Adaptation is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Carry out feasibilities and option appraisals and maintain systems to monitor project costs.
  • Assess risks and progress projects swiftly and systematically to overcome risks.
  • Provide regular progress reports on the performance of projects to the Senior Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Building/Construction/Technical Discipline plus 2 years' relevant experience, or
  • Possess a relevant BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma or qualification of an equivalent academic level plus 3 years' relevant experience in Building/Construction/Technical Discipline.
  • Demonstrate relevant experience in responsibility for designated budgets, ensuring proper financial controls are in place, and staff comply accordingly with planned delivery contracts.
  • Produce, record, and monitor performance reports to ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
  • Working knowledge of NEC 3 Suite of Contracts.
Remuneration:

c£30,152 per annum, plus discount benefits.
