R&D Manager/Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Manager/Director to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our R&D department in developing and driving innovation across our product line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the R&D Team in developing and maintaining key customer relationships through a detailed understanding of their processing capabilities, specific requirements of their markets, and products.
  • Create and develop new products for our core product range and manufacturing capability that will be commercially profitable to the business and the customer/end user.
  • Generate innovative products and processes and manage implementation from concept to launch, including preparing initial costings and formulating recipes for new and existing products.
  • Support customers with trials, product presentations, facilitating communication with relevant departments, and being the primary point of contact for all technical or customer-related projects, issues, or concerns.
Requirements:
  • 3rd-level education in a food-related discipline, ideally with management experience.
  • Experience within a similar role with an excitement/interest in cooking and experimenting with food.
  • Able to manage key customer relationships and demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership and lead cultural change, role modeling Rich Sauces and Solina values.
