Job Summary

This is a substantive consultant post supporting the Paediatric Respiratory team at the Leeds Children's Hospital. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in all aspects of Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, Cystic Fibrosis, and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.

Main Duties

The post holder will be responsible for delivering care to patients within the Paediatric Respiratory department, including out-patient clinics, supervision of patients, and care of in-patients. They will also be expected to link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within Paediatrics and across the Leeds Children's Hospital.

Requirements
  • MB BS (or equivalent) qualification
  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practice
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Either achieved certificate of completion of training or be within 6 months of completion
