We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Respiratory Specialist to join our team at the Leeds Children's Hospital. As a Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Paediatric Respiratory Service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Care to Patients: Provide expert care to patients within the Paediatric Respiratory department, including out-patient clinics, supervision of patients, and care of in-patients.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within Paediatrics and across the Leeds Children's Hospital.
- Acute On-Call Cover: Work with colleagues in Paediatric Respiratory to deliver acute on-call cover for Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, including out-of-hours cover and acute ward rounds.
- Research, Teaching, and Development: Contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Paediatric Respiratory Service, including facilitating and contributing to clinical research programs and maintaining a Good Clinical Practice certificate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and contribute to the development of our Paediatric Respiratory Service.
