Paediatric Respiratory Consultant

This is a substantive consultant post supporting the Paediatric Respiratory team at Leeds Children's Hospital. The successful applicant will have a high level of clinical experience and competence in all aspects of Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, Cystic Fibrosis, and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.
Main Duties- Deliver care to patients within the Paediatric Respiratory department at Leeds Children's Hospital.
- Supervise patients and provide care for in-patients.
- Link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within Paediatrics and across the Leeds Children's Hospital.
- Contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Paediatric Respiratory Service.
- MB BS (or equivalent) qualification.
- MRCPCH or equivalent qualification.
- Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Either achieved certificate of completion of training or be within 6 months of completion.
- Up to date and fit to practise safely.
- Higher degree MD/PhD relevant to the subspecialty.
- Hold full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview) CESR (or) international applicants should comply with the GMC specialty registration process.
