Respiratory Medicine Consultant with COPD Expertise

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Medicine Consultant to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in COPD and be able to contribute to the development of our Integrated COPD Service.
Main Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of innovative ways of working to sustain increasing patient load. They will also be expected to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as active participation in research within the department.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have completed higher specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and General Medicine, be eligible for full registration with the GMC, and have a strong understanding of current issues in the NHS. They will also be well-organised, skilled in good time management, and have effective interpersonal skills.
